NFL Offseason Preview: New York Jets

The New York Jets had a season that showed a lot of upside for the future. They did lose a lot of games leading to a 4-12 record.

The Jets came into this season as team no one expected to make a serious jump. But they acutely they made a solid jump from last year.

They found a starting quarterback. Sam Darnold had a pretty good rookie year, he played a lot better than I expected him too. I thought he was going to be a bust.

Going into the offseson the Jets have a lot of needs all over the roster like edge rusher, defensive tackle, offensive lineman and skill players on both sides.

Heading into free agency this year the Jets need to target Center Matt Paradis, running back Tevin Coleman or LeVeon Bell. For the wide receivers they need to sign either Jordan Matthews or Dontrelle Inman.

People have mentioned the Jets to be the best suitors for LeVeon Bell or a trade for Antonio Brown. I think the Jets have a better chance at signing Bell than trading for Brown.

In the draft the Jets need to focus on defensive linemen and secondary players because this draft is full of them.

1st round: Quinnen Williams DT, 3rd: Trayvon Mullen CB, 3rd: Bryce Love RB, 4th: Caleb Wilson TE, 5th:  Marvell Tell S.

I think these are the players the Jets will draft becuase they had a injury problem last year losing key pieces all over the place. That’s why I have them getting offensive players with one of their 3rd round picks and 4th round.
