NFL offseason preview: Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals are an ok team in the NFL one year they would be next then the next year they will be bad. But for the past 3 years they have been awful.

The Bengals started their offseason really early by firing former Head Coach Marvin Lewis. They went to hire former Los Angeles Rams quarterback coach Zac Taylor.

This was an interesting hire because when we all think about Rams quarterback Jared Goff we think of Head Coach Sean McVay.

I do expect the Bengals to make many moves this offseason because no one wheres this team is going. Are they gonna go all in and try to win this season or will it be a rebuild.

I truly do believe they will be on rebuild mode. They have 51 million going into free agency so I expect them to try to resign all of their young guys to contracts.

I think they will target quarterback Tyrod Taylor, wide receiver Michael Floyd and JJ Nelson.

I’m predicting that they will trade quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver AJ Green. If I’m the Bengals I will trade AJ Green to the New York Jets for 1st next year and 2nd this year.

For Andy Dalton I will try to trade him to the Washington Redskins for a 1st this year or for some defensive pieces to build around.

1st: Ed Oliver DT, 2nd: Andre Dillard OT, 3rd: Kaden Smith TE, 4th: Miles Boykin WR, 5th: Brett Rypien QB.

I do think the Bengals will try to build a defense first because this year is not a quarterback class. The only quarterbacks worth looking at are Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins.

I think Ed Oliver will the guy they build around and the other picks will be guys to see if they be guys to rely on in the future.
