NFL offseason preview: Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers had a horrible year. This team came into this season as one the favorites to win the NFC because they have future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.

After signing that 4 year contract extension that is worth 134 million dollars. I think Rodgers is fine for the rest of his career. But I think he should have taken less because he barely had time to throw the football this year.

It all started in the first game of the season where he got hurt and went down hill from that point leading them to a 6-9-1 record.

The Packers started their offseason a little early because they fired former Head Coach Mike McCarthy during the season. They front office then went on to hire former Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur.

The Packers only have 34 million to play with this offseason. So I see them making one big move or a bunch of small moves.

They need help at wide receiver, offensive line, defensive line, and linebacker.

I think they will make a bunch of small moves this offseason. I see them targeting Nick Easton and Spencer Pulley for offensive line. For wide receiver I can see them going after for Martavis Byrant and Kelvin Benjamin.

On defense I do see them being in the mix for Dion Jordan and Romeo Okwara. At linebacker I only see them bringing back Clay Matthews.

For the draft I think they will mostly target line help on both sides.

1st: Christian Wilkins DT, 1st: Zach Allen DE, 2nd: Michael Jordan C, 3rd: Oshane Ximines DE, 4th: Michael Jackson CB, 4th: Tutus Howard G.

Packers should this past year they struggle on sides especially at the line their were not able to win one-on-one battles which hurt them a lot. The Packers did get a lot sacks but they came off of extra men on the line.
