The Washington Redskins had a season we all were able to predict. They start off strong like they always do then finish poorly like they always do.
One point in the season they were 5-2 in the NFC East and they finished 7-9 for the season. The Redskins have this habit of blowing it every season for the past 4 years.
The biggest question on this team going into this offseason is quarterback Alex Simth. What will Redskins do with him? Smith suffered the same injury Redskins legend Joe Theismann suffered that ended his career.
Another big question is will they release cornerback Josh Norman. Norman has not lived up to contract he signed back in the 2015 offseason. Norman has shown he is more focus on rebelling against the coaches than helping the team.
The Redskins have needs at quarterback, wide receiver, safety and center. They will have 20 million to spend going into free agency. I do not see them making any serious move.
I see them targeting Spencer Pulley and Ryan Kalil to fill the void at center. I do not expect wide receiver Jamison Crowder to comeback. I think the main target for the Redskins will be Josh Huff to replace Crowder.
On the defensive side I think they will make a big push to sign safety Kenny Vaccaro.
In the draft I think Washington will look at future more than present. I see them trying to get franchise guys on their team.
1st: Drew Lock QB, 2nd: Marquise Brown WR, 3rd: Terril Hanks LB, 5th: Maxx Crosby DE.
I think Washington will make decision because these are players they can build their team around.
