Paul George for MVP?

This year we have seen Oklahoma City Thunder forward Paul George also known as “PG13” have an unbelievable season so far.

Last year was tough first year for him in OKC he would have games where we would see “PG13” and other games where he plays like “PGWHO ?” Last year his he averaged 22 points with 6 rebounds, 3 assist and 2 steals a game.

This year so far George has averaged 29 points with 8 rebounds, 4 assists and just over 2 steals a game. George has been a big part of the success the Thunder have had so far this season.

Point guard Russell Westbrook has had off year so far. He has not been the same “Russ” we have seen the last two years. Mainly due to his new style of play now. He now has players he can truly trust.

He has passed the ball a lot to George instead of driving the ball to the rim or taking a contested shot.

Last night we against the Utah Jazz Paul George was incredible he had 45 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in a double overtime win. George really took over the game when Westbrook fouled out of the game.

He put the team on his back and led them a great team win with the playoffs around the corner.

Now with this signature game for the season George could be the MVP if he keeps this up. The only player that could stop him from winning the MVP is Houston Rockets James Harden.

Harden is having a good season as he did last year when he won the MVP. But George has played better in more meaningful games with his co-star is not having a great season so he performances mean more to his team than Harden performance.
