NFL offseason Preview: Minnesota Vikings

Man what happen to the Minnesota Vikings, in 2017 they were 13-3 and were one game away from the Superbowl. This last year they were 8-7-1 and miss the playoffs.

They did make the biggest splash all of last offseason by signing quarterback Kirk Cousins. I felt what held this team back was the struggles on defense early in the year and the horrible coaching on offense.

The Vikings had games were they should have scored more but they had predictable play calling they would pass they ball 8 out 11 times. That is not right, when they fired offensive coordinator John DeFilippo they finally ran the ball.

Going to offseason the Vikings need help in offensive and defensive line, linebacker and a no.2 corner.

To fill these voids will be hard for the Vikings because they will only have 6 million to play with. I see them only targeting tackle Jake Fisher because I do believe they will be focusing on resign their own players.

In the draft I see them addressing all their needs. They do not have many needs on the team because if look at their roster most spots are filled with other guys.

1st: Dre’Mont Jones DT, 2nd: Dalton Risner C, 3rd: Ken Webster CB, 4th: Ryan Connelly LB.

I think this will not a big offseason for the Vikings which will be really good for them, they will fly under the radar and they could be the surprise of the NFC North.

I do believe this can get back to winning ways because they have a really good roster. They can lineup with almost anyone in the league.
