The Heat need to trade for Devin Booker

Its no question that Phoenix Sun guard Devin Booker is one of the best young players in basketball. The only problem is that he is on a very bad team.

He needs to leave Phoenix but he is under contract until 2024 due to his extension he signed in 2018. He needs to go to an up and coming team that needs a star.

Their is one team looking for a star player. Its is the Miami Heat, we all know that guard Dwyane Wade will retire at the end of this year.

The Miami Heat will be looking for a player to take over the team,  and Booker would fit that role easy. He would be the final piece for the Heat to form their own big 4 with Josh Richardson, Justice Winslow, Bam Adebayo.

The only thing that is stopping the Heat making this move is the contracts of center Hassan Whiteside and guard Goran Dragic. I’m positive if those contracts were not their the Heat would pursue a trade for Booker.

Booker would fit right into offense were would be the number 1 guy and have solid back up with the rest of the Heat roster around him.

The Toronto Raptors might lose Kawhi Leonard this offseason and the Boston Celtics are going to lose most their roster this offseason because most will be free agents and they can not play with each other.

If the Heat trade for Booker this offseason they will be one of the favorites to come out of the East next year.

What the Heat need to do this offseason is trade Whiteside and Dragic to free up cap room. This could happen because the Heat “The Godfather” Pat Riley who could do a deal for Booker and get rid of those horrible contracts on the team.
