NFL offseason Preview: Indianapolis Colts

The word to describe the Indianapolis Colts is adjustment because they made the best adjustments in the NFL this year.

The Colts had one of the worst starts to year in the NFL. They started 1-5 losing a lot of close games but they made great adjustments and finished the year 10-6 winning the AFC South.

First year Head Coach Frank Reich and GM Chris Ballard really changed this team. They had a great draft class this past year, they got guys who will be their for years to come.

Plus the most important and underrated adjustment they made was building one of the best offensive lines in football. That line protected quarterback Andrew Luck so well, that protection that offensive line gave Andrew Luck showed why he was 1st overall pick in 2012.

He had an MVP caliber season and led this team to the divisional round of the playoffs. The Colts are a trending team with only a few minor holes.

The Colts need to upgrade at wide receiver, safety, cornerback and linebacker. I do believe they will address all of those needs in free agency because they have 108 million to play with in free agency.

They can really revamp this team. I a lot of people have them signing Le’Veon Bell, I do not see that because Marlon Mack is solid running back but running back is not eh biggest need for them.

I expect them to target safety Landon Collins, cornerback Bradley Roby and Ronald Draby, at linebacker I see them targeting Mark Baron to pair him with All-Pro Darius Leonard.

In the draft I see them filling the other spots.

1st: Jaylon Ferguson DE, 2nd: Riley Ridley WR, 2nd: Juan Thornhill S, 3rd: Lonnie Johnson CB, 4th: Anthony Nelson DE.

I see the Colts really focusing on defense because their offense is complete outside of a number 2 receiver they are fine at every spot. So I see them trying to bluster the defense to stop teams like the Kansas City Chiefs who ran all over them in the playoffs.
