Tonight is game 6 of the Western Conference Semi Finals, the Golden State Warriors are going to face the Houston Rockets in Houston tonight. The biggest story line is Kevin Durant.
As we all know Durant will not play tonight due to his calf injury and he will not play game 7 if the series does go to an extra game past tonight.
The Warriors are fine going into this game because they now all the pressure is on the Houston Rockets. Last year many people including myself said if Chris Paul did not get hurt last year the Warriors would have lost to Rockets last year in the playoffs.
Now the tables have turned, the Warriors lost one of their best players while the Rockets are fully healthy. So, the Rockets have no excuses now if they lose this series.
If they lose this series, James Harden and Chris Paul playoff’s legacy will be damaged so bad I do not know if they will be able to repair it.
The Rockets wanted to play against the Warriors this playoffs because they think they can beat them. Now you have them at their weakest point, they are missing two starters and one of them is arguably the best player on the planet.
It is time to step up and take down Warriors. There is really good chance they will never get an opportunity like this again, to take down of the best team in the NBA.
What the Rockets need to do to win this series is to get Klay Thompson and Steph Curry to get in foul trouble early, score at will and make big shots.
If the Houston does do this for the remained of this series will forget game 1 and 5 when the Rockets had golden chances to steal both of those games.
