Yesterday the Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 118 to 109. This was expect to happen.
Yesterday the Toronto Raptors took advantage of a rusty Golden State Warriors. The Warriors did not look like the team we have seen in their last 5 games. The Warriors were missing shots, committing turnovers and kept making to many mistakes.
It was weird to see it because of the amount of talent they have on that team. But the Raptors made sure they took advantage of that opportunity.
The star of the night was Pascal Siakam scoring 32 points with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Siakam was nothing but sensational last night, it was like he didn’t miss a shot last night going 14 of 17 from the field.
The Warriors had no answer for him, they couldn’t stop him form scoring in the paint and he was stopping the Warriors from scoring anywhere he was.
The Raptors supporting cast showed up last night because Kawhi Leonard did not have a good game. He looked a little weak which is concerning for the Raptors going into game 2.
The Warriors also suffered a key injury too. Forward Andrea Iguodala suffered a leg injury near the end of game which could be a big lost for the Warriors if he not able to play in game 2 this Sunday.
The rest Warriors should feel good about this game. They only lost by nine points when they had an off night. If they get it going with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson the Warriors can steal game 2 to tie the series 1-1.
