Last night in Game 2 of the NBA Finals the Golden State Warriors took back home-court advantage with a 109 to 104 win against the Toronto Raptors. Making the series 1-1. The Warriors are now in the drivers seat to win the Finals.
The Warriors did what they needed to do last night. Klay Thompson caught fire early, Draymond Green was running the offense at certain points, and they played team ball. They got contributions from everyone.
DeMarcus cousins played extremely well, he nearly had a triple double with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assist. Quin Cook played solid minutes, made some big shots. Also, their starters got some rest with the majority of their bench playing last night.
The biggest factor last night for the Warriors was passing. A lot of their shots were wide open shots, especially the biggest shot of the game. Andre Iguodala dagger 3-point shot was wide open.
The Warriors staff did a great good making adjustments, they got 11 guys ready to play and they all played well.
The Toronto Raptors missed out on multiple chances to win the game. Klay Thompson left the game with an injury with over seven minutes left in the game, the Warriors onloy score 3 points in a stretch of five minutes.
No one can’t tell me the Raptors had a golden chance to take 2-0 SERIES LEAD. The game was in their hands for the taking with the way things were turning out for the Warriors last night.
The lack of bodies on the floor was the biggest reason why the Raptors lost. They only played 8 guys, you can not win a game like that. In order to beat the Warriors you need everyone on the team to contribute.
Now they are gonna go to Golden State tied when they could have been up 2-0. This game might have cost the Raptors the title.
