Lasts night the the Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 105 to 92 to take a 3-1 series lead.
I was completely shocked. I honestly thought the Warriors were going to win game. They were gonna get Klay Thompson back after Steph Curry huge game 3.
But getting Klay Thompson back did not help the Warriors at all. The Warriors still couldn’t stop Kawhi Leonard.
Kawhi was doing what ever he wanted. He finished the game with 36 points, 12 rebounds and 4 steals. He had his biggest impact in the 1st and 3rd quarter.
The biggest moments were the two big three-pointers he made in the 3rd quarter to give the Raptors the lead in the second half.
The biggest surprise of this game was Raptors Serge Ibaka. In 22 minutes he finished with 20 points with 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.
The game looked like it was going to be a Warriors blowout but the Raptors hung on and fought back to get a huge win that might have been the biggest blow to the 2-time defending Champs.
The Warriors last night were pathetic after the 1st quarter. They kept trying to force feed the ball to Curry who made 9 out of 22 shot attempts.
What they should have done was keep feeding the ball to Klay Thompson who shot 61 percent from field on 18 shots.
Steve Kerr deserves a lot of blame for this lost. He should have seen when Curry is cold, he is dead cold. Curry has proven my point that he is not a guy you want to trust in the big moments.
Curry had so many opportunities to take over this game but he didn’t. He shot his in the foot, now they down 3-1 in the series. No the the Warriors have to go back to Toronto and try to win in order to force a game 6 back at Golden State.
