“Is Dak Prescott worth 30 or even 40 million dollars a year?” NO, he is not even worth 20 million a year.
Reports have came out that the Dallas Cowboys have offered quarterback Dak Prescott a contract extension that would have been worth over 30 million dollars a year. But he declined it. I was shocked when I heard this.
Dak Prescott is an ok quarterback people, he is not good or even close to being elite. Just look at Dallas Cowboys offense when they are on the field. They run everything through Ezekiel Elliott.
Defenses are more focus on Zeke than they are on Dak. Look at all the games the Cowboys have lost over the past three years since Prescott took over as the starting quarterback.
In the 16 loses the Cowboys have had in last three years, Zeke played in 12 of them. In those 12 loses with Zeke on of the field, he failed to rush for 100 yards in nine times. That shows defense were more focused on stopping the running game.
The one thing in common with all of those loses is that Dak Prescott threw 250 yards or less. What does tell of all us. Dak goes as Zek goes. Plain and simple. Zeke is main vocal point of the offense not Dak.
Prescott reminds me of former Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. An OK quarterback with a solid arm.
I just don’t know why the Cowboys would offer a quarterback who was won nothing 30 million dollars a year. In my eyes if the quarterback got you to multiple Super Bowls and won at least one then quarterback should be getting paid 30 million a year.
But, Dak has not done any of that all he did was win one playoff game. Why would you offer that kind of money to an average quarterback.
