He is either “all-in or all-out” according to Oakland Raiders General Manger Mike Mayock on Antonio Brown. Brown is pushing the Raiders patience to the limit, over this helmet gate that has been going on ever since he got there.
Since last week Thursday night preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals we all thought this helmet gate with Antonio Brown was over.
But, yesterday Raiders GM Mike Mayock spoke to the media and said that Antonio Brown did not show up to practice because he is still upset about the helmet issue he had with the NFL last week.
A report came out last week that Raiders receiver Antonio Brown had a major problem with the NFL and the Oakland Raiders because, he was told that he can not wear his old helmet.
The NFL and the Raiders told him to wear a new helmet that is NFL certified.
A series of tweets by Michael Sliver gave us a deeper picture of what was really going on with this situation.
Last week Brown did appeal to the NFL about his helmet. So, he can wear his old helmet instead of the new version of it. But, the NFL said no. Brown then showed up to training camp saying that he will wear the new helmet and try to help the Raiders win.
He was clearly lying. He wants everything to be about him instead of his team.Look at all the drama he was involved this offseason. All the talking he did to get himself out of Pittsburgh, then still call out former teammates new he is on a new team.
Brown has done nothing but act like a child ever since he arrived in Oakland. He has been able to do what ever he wants with no one saying anything. But, now that someone has said something maybe Brown might change.
Brown did report today to practice, but I wouldn’t trust him if I were the Raiders front office. There will always be something wrong with him because, it seems like he not happy if he is not trending.
