FINALLY FOOTBALL IS BACK. The first game of the year will be the Green Bay Packers taking on the Chicago Bears in Chicago. Who is going to win this game?
The Green Bay Packers are coming into this game with low exceptions. New head coach and a new offense. Not many people including myself are expecting the Packers to take over this game.
The Packers are going to test their new offense under Matt LaFleur against arguably the best defense in all of football. That is not a good at all for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense.
The Bears defense is fast, scary and physical. They can expose the Packers offense before halftime if they want to. But I don’t think that will happen. Aaron Rodgers is still a top five quarterback so I expect him to give the Bears defense at least a little bit of problems.
I do think the Bears defense will be great in this game, but will their offense be able to score points. The only question the Bears have on offense is Mitch Trubisky. Trubisky needs to be able to throw ball effectively in order to win this game for the Bears.
If Trubisky can make the Packers defense fear the passing attack the Bears will win by a country mile.
Final Score: Bears 27, Packers 13
