2020 NFL Season Predictions

The NFL is back and man this season will be like no other. Due to COVID-19 many players have decided to opt-out and not play this season. And some players might test positive after week one. So, we don’t know if the NFL will be able to complete this season.

But, until day comes we have to assume that the season will play on. So here are my predictions for the division winners.

NFC East: Philadelphia Eagles

After seeing what the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles did in this past offseason I think the Eagles actually made improvements. They got Darius Slay to help their secondary plus they are getting back all of the players who were hurt last year which is huge. Last season we saw the Eagles win this division with an injury-plagued roster. Now that they are healthy they should win this division with ease.

NFC North: Green Bay Packers

After getting embarrassed in the NFC title game last season we all thought the Packers were gonna get more offensive weapons for Aaron Rodgers. But, that didn’t happen. The Packers are entering the season with basically the same roster as last year. I’m picking the Packers over the Minnesota Vikings simply because of Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers still has good years left in him but I think the most he can do with this team is win the division.

NFC South: New Orleans Saints

Yes, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the loudest offseason. But, people need to remember that the Saints arguably have the best overall roster in all of football. They don’t have any holes on their roster and they have one of the best coaches in all of football. I do believe Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees will win this division over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

NFC West: Seattle Seahawks

After seeing the moves the Seahawks made this past offseason I really like their chances this year. Greg Olsen is another reliable target for Russell Wilson outside of Tyler Lockett and D.K Metcalf. Plus adding Jamal Adams to that defense that already has Bobby Wagner and K.J. Wright is scary. I think the Seahawks are going to be the team to beat in the NFC west this year

AFC East: Buffalo Bills

The Bills are an interesting team because now the pressure is on them to win the division because the Miami Dolphins are in rebuild mode. And no one knows what to expect from the New England Patriots and the New York Jets. The one thing to watch with the Bills is the relationship between wide receiver Stefon Diggs and quarterback Josh Allen. If those two are on the same page and Allen is able to get him the ball in big moments the Bills will win the AFC East.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have the best overall team in the AFC North by a mile. They have the reigning MVP in Lamar Jackson, a great defense and one of the best coaches in all of football in John Harbaugh. I just don’t think any other team in that division can compete with them. The Ravens should win this division if they played they the same way they did last year.

AFC South: Tennessee Titans

After seeing all moves each team in the AFC South made during the offseason the Titans have best team. The Houston Texans traded the one of the best receivers in all of football, the Jacksonville Jaguars got rid of everybody and the Indianapolis Colts still haven’t figured out the quarterback situation. So the Titans should win this division with ease.

AFC West: Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs should win this division with no problems at all. They have the best offense in their division and they have the best quarterback in all of football in Patrick MaHomes. The Chiefs offense is so explosive, their defense didn’t lose that many starters and they were able to keep most of their coaching staff from last year so they should win the AFC West.

MVP: Russell Wilson

Yes, a lot of people are picking Tom Brady and Patrick MaHomes to win the MVP. But I think Russell Wilson is gonna win it this year. The Seahawks play in arguably the toughest division in all of football the NFC West which includes the reigning NFC Champs the San Francisco 49ers, the up and coming Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles rams who are looking to bounce back from last year. If the Seahawks want to win this division Wilson needs to play like an MVP from start to finish. And with the team he has this year I think he can do it.

Super Bowl: Kansas City Chiefs over Seattle Seahawks

Don’t get me wrong I think Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are gonna have a great year but I don’t see them beating Patrick MaHomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Last year the Chiefs were down by 10 points or more in all three of their playoffs games and they won them all those game by 10 points or more. It only takes one big play for that offense to explode which is the scary part. They score 20 points in a blink of an eye. I just think the Chiefs offense will be to much for Wilson and the Seahawks.
